Cuba Police Department Successfully Launches Business Watch Program with Kickoff Meeting

On Monday, March 30th, business leaders from across Cuba, NM came together with the Cuba Police Department for our first Business Watch Program meeting.

This meeting was not only about safety and security—it was about partnership, communication, and how we grow stronger together as a community.

The purpose of the Business Watch Program is simple: To build a direct line of communication between our local businesses and law enforcement, share timely information, and provide tools and training that help prevent crime before it happens. Through collaboration, awareness, and proactive strategies, we can better protect our businesses, employees, and customers.

We discussed real-world concerns facing our businesses, shared ideas on crime prevention, and established a foundation for ongoing cooperation. Every participating business took an active role in this effort, demonstrating a commitment to making Cuba a safer and more prosperous place.

This is just the beginning. This will be the first of many meetings where we continue to come together, share information, and strengthen our community partnerships.

The Cuba Police Department is committed to working alongside our businesses—not just in response to crime, but in preventing it and supporting long-term growth.

Thank you to all who attended and took part in building something meaningful for our community.

Stronger together. Safer together. Cuba together.
