Municipal Court Clerk Lynette Crespin Retires after 25 Years of Service to the Village of Cuba

At the Regular Cuba Village Council Meeting held on January 28, 2026, Lynette Crespin was recognized for her 25 years of dedicated service as Cuba Municipal Court Clerk. Mayor Denny Herrera and the Council joined in a special presentation to show their appreciation for the retiring clerk with a certificate and token of appreciation.

Deputy Clerk Kerin Buttry-Sparks said Lynette’s “commitment, professionalism, and hard work have made a lasting impact on the lives of our residents and the success of our village. She has exemplified integrity, reliability, and a deep sense of responsibility. Her contributions have helped shape the Village of Cuba into the vibrant and welcoming community we are proud of today.”

Nicole Gurule is assuming the role of Municipal Court Clerk after her transfer from the Cuba MVD. She has been training in her new role for three months. The Cuba Municipal Court relocated to the Soil & Water Conservation District office at 109 Co Rd 11 in October.
