On April 14, 2026, officers with the Cuba Police Department responded to a reported shoplifting incident at a local business. Through a quick response and proactive patrol, the suspect was located in the immediate area.
During the investigation, the individual was found in possession of stolen merchandise. Officers also located suspected heroin and drug paraphernalia, including needles. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Sandoval County Detention Center. All stolen items were recovered and returned to the business.
